Hounslow road closures: five for motorists to avoid this week

Hounslow's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause severe delays – with drivers facing a wait of at least 30 minutes. Another will cause moderate delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start this week:

A30, from 10pm September 12 to 5am September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Crooked Billet to Harrow Road, Lane one closure for electrical works.

A30, from 10pm September 14 to 5am September 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Lane one closure, Lane closure for electrical works.

M4, from 11pm September 16 to 5am September 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, carriageway closure for Structures works taking place on TLRN, diversion via TFL roads.

M4, from midnight, September 17 to 11.59pm October 12, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, 24/7 Lane closure for Structure works.

A30, from 10pm September 21 to 5.30am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, London Road to Desford Way, Lane closure for sign maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
