Road closures: six for Hillingdon drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 12.02am December 1 2021 to 11.59pm June 1 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 10pm May 23 to 5am May 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4 to junction 4B, Link Roads Closed to M25 clockwise and Anti clockwise for urgent Horticulture works, diversion via National Highways Roads.

M4, from 10pm May 24 to 5.30am May 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

M25, from 10pm May 25 to 5.30am May 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 3, carriageway, link road and entry slip road closures for M4 Smart motorway works, diversion via Highways England network and local authority roads.

M25, from 10pm May 28 to 5.30am May 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4B to junction 5, carriageway, link road and Lane closures, diversion via Local authorities.

M25, from 10pm May 30 to 5.30am June 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 15 to junction 14, carriageway closure for surfacing works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
