Road closures: nine for Hillingdon drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have nine National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm November 4 to 5.30am November 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15 to M4 westbound, junction 4b, Lane, link and entry slip road closure for drainage works. Diversion via M4, junction 4 and back.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M4, from 10pm November 6 to 5am November 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 northbound, Airport Spur Road to M4, junction 4, Lane closures for electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm November 6 to 5.30am November 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane and link closure for surfacing works, diversion via, junction 16, to Denham roundabout and return.

• M25, from 10pm November 7 to 6am November 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane and link closure for surfacing works, diversion via, junction 16, to Denham roundabout and return.

• M4, from 10pm November 9 to 5am November 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 northbound, Airport Spur Road to M4, junction 4, Lane closure for electrical works.

• M4, from 10pm November 9 to 5.30am November 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4b to junction 4, Lane closures for bridge joint works.

• M4, from 10pm November 9 to 5.30am November 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4b, Lane closures for bridge joint works.

• M4, from 10pm November 10 to 5am November 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4, Lane and exit slip road closures for electrical work, diversion via, junction 4 Roundabout.

• M4, from 10pm November 13 to 5am November 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for Sign Installation.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
