Road closures: more than a dozen for Hillingdon drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have 14 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10.30pm November 6 to 5am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15 to junction 16, Lane closures for urgent drainage works.

• M25, from 12.02am June 1 2022 to 11.59pm June 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further 12 closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A312, from 10pm November 10 to 5am November 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound and westbound, junction 3, Lane closures for electrical works.

• M4, from 11pm November 11 to 5am November 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 southbound, junction 4 to junction 4A, Lane closure for drainage inspections.

• M4, from 11pm November 11 to 10pm November 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 northbound, junction 4A to junction 4, Lane closure for drainage works.

• M4, from 10pm November 14 to 5am November 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound and westbound, junction 4, Lane closures for asset inspections.

• M25, from 10pm November 14 to 5.30am November 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closure and link road closure for M4 SMP, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 11pm November 18 to 5.30am November 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 3, Weekend carriageway, link road and entry slip road closures for M4 Smart motorway works, diversion via Highways England network and local authority roads.

• M4, from 11pm November 18 to 5.30am November 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 northbound, junction 4A to junction 4, Lane closure for drainage works.

• M4, from 11pm November 18 to 5.30am November 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 southbound, junction 4 to junction 4A, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M4, from 11pm November 18 to 5.30am November 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Weekend carriageway closure for M4 Smart motorway works, diversion via local authority roads.

• M4, from 10pm November 21 to 5am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 northbound, junction 4A to junction 4, Lane closures for structures inspections.

• M4, from 10pm November 21 to 5am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 southbound, junction 4 to junction 4A, Lane closures for structures inspections.

• M4, from 10pm November 21 to 5.30am November 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, carriageway closure, exit slip road closure and lane closures for CAT 1 loop repairs, diversion via National Highways and TFL roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
