Road closures: more than a dozen for Hillingdon drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have 15 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And 10 of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M4, from 10pm June 8 to 5.30am July 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 between the exit and entry slip roads, carriageway closure for joint replacement works, diversion via National Highways Network.

M25, from 12.02am June 1 2022 to 11.59pm June 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further 13 closures will begin over the next seven days:

M4, from 10pm June 28 to 5am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for M4 SMP technology works.

M25, from 10pm June 29 to 5.30am June 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 3, carriageway, link road and entry slip road closures for M4 Smart motorway works, diversion via Highways England network and local authority roads.

M4, from 10pm June 29 to 5am June 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4 to 4B, Lane closures for M4 SMP.

M25, from 10pm June 30 to 5.30am July 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, link road closure and lane closures for smart motorway works diversion via National Highways roads (M4, junction 4 and return).

M25, from 10pm July 4 to 5.30am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, link road closure and lane closure for smart motorway works diversion via National Highways roads, M4, junction 4 and return.

A40, from 10pm July 5 to 5am July 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, diversion to junction 1 and Return.

M4, from 3am July 11 to 5.30am July 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane 1,2 closure for smart motorway works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
