Road closures: more than a dozen for Hillingdon drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have 16 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 16 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm January 29 to 5.30am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M4, from 10pm January 29 to 5.30am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm January 29 to 5.30am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm January 29 to 5am February 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15 to M4 eastbound and westbound, junction 4B, link road closures for safety fence repairs, diversion via Local authorities and National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm January 31 to 5.30am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm January 31 to 5.30am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm January 31 to 5am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 4, Lane closures for camera maintenance works.

• A40, from 10pm January 31 to 5.30am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 1a to junction 1, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• M4, from 10pm January 31 to 5.30am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 clockwise, junction 4 Roundabout, Lane closure for electrical works.

• M40, from 10.15pm January 31 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane closure for maintenance work.

• M40, from 10pm February 1 to 5.30am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 1a, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm February 1 to 5.30am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 northbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm February 2 to 5.30am February 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 northbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M4, from 11pm February 2 to 5am February 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 4, Lane closures for sign installation.

• M25, from 10pm February 6 to 5.30am February 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1A, Lane closures and link road closures for resurfacing works, diversion National Highways Roads.

• M4, from 10pm February 10 to 5am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closures for investigation works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
