Road closures: five for Hillingdon drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 12.02am June 1 2022 to 11.59pm June 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further four closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 10pm December 1 to 5.30am December 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Lane closures for M4 SMP technology works.

M4, from 10pm December 5 to 5am December 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 southbound, junction 4, carriageway closure for white lining works, diversion via local authority and TFL roads.

M25, from 10pm December 5 to 5.30am December 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 16 to junction 15, Lane closures and link road closures for resurfacing works, diversion via National highways roads (M25 to junction 14 and return).

M4, from 10pm December 12 to 5am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound and westbound, junction 4, Lane closures for asset inspections.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
