Road closures: five for Hillingdon drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M25, from 10pm September 5 to 5.30am September 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4b to M25 clockwise and anticlockwise, junction 15, Lane closures, link closures, and slip road closures for electrical works, diversion Via National Highways network.

A312, from 10.30pm September 10 to 5.30am September 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4, Lane, entry and exit slip road closures for construction works diversion via M4, junction 3 and M4, junction 5.

M4, from 10pm September 11 to 5.30am September 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Lane closures for surveys and bridge joint works.

M25, from 10pm September 11 to 6am September 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 northbound and southbound, junction 4 to junction 3, carriageway, lane, entry and exit slip road closure for maintenance works, diversion via local authority network.

A312, from 10pm September 18 to 5am September 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for maintenance works, diversion via TFL and National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
