Road closures: eight for Hillingdon drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 3pm December 15 2022 to 3pm December 15 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 10pm April 24 to 5am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15 to junction 16, Lane closures for embankment and pavement works.

A312, from 10pm April 26 to 5.30am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane and link closure for RMTC technology works.

M4, from 10pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 northbound, junction 4a to junction 4, Lane closure for electrical works.

M4, from 10pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): 2200-0500hrs, Lane 3/2 closure on roundabout for electrical works.

M4, from 10pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 southbound, junction 4 to junction 4a, Lane closures for electrical works.

M25, from 10pm May 1 to 5.30am May 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15 to junction 16, Lane closures for embankment and pavement works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
