Road closures: eight for Hillingdon drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And six of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 10.30pm June 12 to 5.30am June 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 16 to junction 15, M25 Link Road closure to M4 eastbound, for smart motorway works, diversion via National Highways Roads.

M4, from 10pm June 8 to 5.30am July 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 between the exit and entry slip roads, carriageway closure for joint replacement works, diversion via National Highways Network.

M25, from 12.02am June 1 2022 to 11.59pm June 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

M4, from 10pm June 13 to 5.30am June 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, carriageway, slip road and lane closure for smart motorway works, diversion via Local authorities.

M25, from 10pm June 16 to 6am June 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 3, carriageway, link road and entry slip road closures for M4 Smart motorway works, diversion via Highways England network and local authority roads.

M25, from 10pm June 18 to 5.30am June 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4B to junction 5, carriageway closure and M25 link road closures for Smart Motorway works, diversion via local authority Roads.

M4, from 10pm June 20 to 5.30am June 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

M25, from 10pm June 22 to 5.30am June 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, M25 link road closure to M4 westbound, for smart motorway works, diversion via National Highways Roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
