Road closures: eight for Hillingdon drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hillingdon will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 10pm August 21 to 5am August 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 anti-clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closures for maintenance works.

M25, from 10pm August 23 to 5am August 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4b to junction 4, Lane closures for Sign Removal.

M40, from 10pm August 21 to 5am August 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 1a to junction 1, Lane closures for maintenance works.

M25, from 10pm August 21 to 5am August 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for vegetation works.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A312, from 10pm August 28 to 5.30am August 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4, Lane, and exit slip road closures for CAT1 barrier repair works, diversion via, junction 3 and return.

A312, from 10pm August 29 to 5am August 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 3 roundabout, Lane closures for inspection works.

M25, from 10pm August 29 to 5am August 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for vegetation works.

A40, from 10pm September 1 to 6am September 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 1a, exit Sip road closure for maintenance work, diversion via National Highways Network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
