And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 12.02am December 1 2021 to 11.59pm June 1 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 10pm March 16 to 5.30am March 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4B to junction 5, carriageway and link road closure for smart motorway works, diversion via Local authorities.

M25, from 10pm March 24 to 5am March 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 15, Lane closures for RTMC works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
