Hillingdon road closures: six for motorists to avoid this week

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 12.02am December 1 2021 to 11.59pm June 1 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

M4, from 10pm May 9 to 6am May 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4, slip road and lane closures, diversion via Local authorities.

M25, from 10pm May 9 to 6am May 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 Anticlockwise to M40 northbound, Lane closure for maintenance works.

M4, from 10pm May 10 to 5.30am May 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 4B to junction 3 eastbound, Lane closures for Smart Motorway works.

M4, from 10pm May 10 to 5.30am May 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 2 to junction 4B westbound, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

M4, from 10pm May 17 to 5.30am May 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 3 eastbound, Lane closure for M4 smart motorway works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
