Hillingdon road closures: six for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Hillingdon's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hillingdon's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 3pm December 15 2022 to 3pm December 15 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M4, from 10pm June 5 to 5am June 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane and link road closure for survey works.

M25, from 10pm June 7 to 5.30am June 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Lane closures for embankment and pavement works.

M25, from 9.30pm June 9 to 6am June 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 southbound to M40 northbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

M25, from 10pm June 19 to 5am June 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 15, Lane closure for Speed / Red X Enforcement Camera maintenance.

M4, from 10pm June 19 to 5am June 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3, entry slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
