Hillingdon road closures: seven for motorists to avoid this week

Hillingdon's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M4, from 10pm July 30 to 5.30am August 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4B to junction 5, Lane closures for M4 SMP.

M25, from 12.02am June 1 2022 to 11.59pm June 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 10pm August 1 to 5.30am August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Lane closure for surfacing works.

M25, from 10pm August 1 to 5.30am August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closure for surfacing works.

M4, from 10pm August 6 to 5.30am August 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for Smart Motorway works, diversion via TFL roads.

M4, from 10pm August 9 to 5.30am August 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

M25, from 10pm August 10 to 5am August 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25, junction 15 to junction 15 Anti clockwise, Lane closure for Speed / Red X Enforcement Camera maintenance - Recertification (4947B).

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
