Hillingdon's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hillingdon's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M25, from 10pm August 10 to 6am August 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise to M40 southbound, Lane closure for maintenance works.

M4, from 10pm August 12 to 5.30am August 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane closures and slip road closures for surveys, diversions via National Highways roads.

M25, from 9.30pm August 15 to 5am August 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound to M25 clockwise link road, carriageway closure for communication works, diversion via National Highways network.

M40, from 10pm August 15 to 5am August 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 1a, Lane closures for maintenance works.

M25, from 11pm August 18 to 6am August 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to 4B, Lane closure and link road closure for joint investigation works, diversion via National Highways roads.

M4, from 10pm August 19 to 5.30am August 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane closures and slip road closures for surveys, diversions via National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm August 21 to 5am August 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for vegetation works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
