Hillingdon road closures: more than a dozen for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Hillingdon's motorists will have 15 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10pm January 20 to 5am January 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4B to junction 5, carriageway closure including M25 link roads for inspection works, diversion via local authorities.

And a further 14 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm January 22 to 5am January 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4B to M25 clockwise and Anticlockwise, junction 15, link road closures for barrier repairs, diversion via local authorities.

• M25, from 10pm January 24 to 5.30am January 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 3, Lane closures for survey works.

• M25, from 10pm January 29 to 5.30am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M4, from 10pm January 29 to 5.30am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm January 29 to 5.30am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm January 31 to 5.30am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm January 31 to 5.30am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 southbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm January 31 to 5am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 4, Lane closures for camera maintenance works.

• A40, from 10pm January 31 to 5.30am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 1a to junction 1, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• M40, from 10.15pm January 31 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane closure for maintenance work.

• M40, from 10pm February 1 to 5.30am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 1a, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm February 1 to 5.30am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 northbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm February 2 to 5.30am February 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise to M40 northbound, link road, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M4, from 11pm February 2 to 5am February 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 4, Lane closures for sign installation.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
