Hillingdon road closures: more than a dozen for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Hillingdon's motorists will have 14 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hillingdon's motorists will have 14 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And six of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 3pm December 15 2022 to 3pm December 15 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

M4, from 10pm July 10 to 5.30am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closures for HDDM's surveys.

M4, from 10pm July 10 to 5.30am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Lane closures for HADDMs surveys.

M4, from 10pm July 13 to 5am July 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane and entry slip road closures for survey works, diversion to junction 4 roundabout.

M4, from 10pm July 13 to 5am July 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4, junction 4 roundabout to junction 4a roundabout, carriageway and lane closures for structures inspections works, diversion via Hatton road north and return.

M25, from 10pm July 15 to 5.30am July 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closure and link road closure for darinage works, diversion via National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm July 18 to 5am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 15 to M4 eastbound, junction 4, Lane closures for communication works.

M40, from 9pm July 19 to 5am July 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1a, Lane closures for maintenance work.

A30, from 10pm July 19 to 5am July 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to M4 westbound, junction 4b, Lane and link road closures for communication works, diversion via, junction 13 to M4, junction 4 and back.

A312, from 10pm July 20 to 5.30am July 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4b to junction 4, exit slip road and lane closure construction works, diversion via M4, junction 3 and back.

M4, from 10pm July 22 to 5.30am July 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 4b to junction 5, Lane closure for survey works.

A312, from 10pm July 24 to 5am August 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4, exit slip road and lane closures for CAT1 barrier repair works, diversion via, junction 3 and return.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
