Hillingdon road closures: four for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Hillingdon's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hillingdon's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M25, from 10pm February 22 to 5am February 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 15 exit slip road and M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 4, Lane and slip closure or electrical works, diversion via National highways roads.

M25, from 10pm February 26 to 5.30am February 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 3, Lane closures, including on M4 eastbound, junction 4 entry and exit slip roads, for survey works.

M4, from 11pm March 1 to 6am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closures for lighting works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
