Hillingdon road closures: four for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Hillingdon's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hillingdon's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M4, from 11pm February 2 to 5am February 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 4, Lane closures for sign installation.

And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M25, from 10pm February 8 to 5am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 Anti clockwise to M40 southbound, Lane closure on entry slip road for maintenance works.

M4, from 10pm February 10 to 5am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closures for investigation works.

M4, from 10pm February 10 to 5am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Lane closures for investigation works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
