Hillingdon road closures: five for motorists to avoid this week

Hillingdon's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hillingdon's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 12.02am June 1 2022 to 11.59pm June 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 15, Hard shoulder closure for CAT 1 embankment erosion.

And a further four closures will begin over the next seven days:

M4, from 10pm July 25 to 5.30am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

M4, from 10pm July 26 to 5.30am July 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

M25, from 10pm July 27 to 6am July 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 16 to junction 15, carriageway closure for surfacing works, diversion via National highways network.

M25, from 10pm July 30 to 6am July 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, link road closure for smart motorway works, diversion via National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
