Hillingdon's motorists will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hillingdon's motorists will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And five of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 11 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A312, from 10pm August 28 to 5.30am August 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4, Lane, and exit slip road closures for CAT1 barrier repair works, diversion via, junction 3 and return.

A312, from 10pm August 29 to 5am August 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 3 roundabout, Lane closures for inspection works.

M25, from 10pm August 29 to 5am August 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for vegetation works.

M4, from 10pm August 30 to 5.30am September 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for M4 SMP HADDMs works.

M4, from 10pm August 31 to 5.30am September 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 southbound, junction 4 to junction 4A, Lane closures for White Lining.

A40, from 10pm September 1 to 6am September 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 1a, exit Sip road closure for maintenance work, diversion via National Highways Network.

M25, from 11pm September 1 to 5am September 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, carriageway closure and slip closures for electrical works, diversions via National Highways and local authority Network.

M25, from 11pm September 1 to 6am September 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to 4B, link roads and lane closure for joint investigation works, diversion via National Highways roads.

M4, from 10pm September 11 to 5.30am September 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4B, Lane closures for surveys and bridge joint works.

M25, from 10pm September 11 to 6am September 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 northbound and southbound, junction 4 to junction 3, carriageway, lane, entry and exit slip road closure for maintenance works, diversion via local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
