Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to seven Hillingdon establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Hillingdon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Coffee Shop at Mount Vernon Trust Nhs Trust, Rickmansworth Road, Northwood; rated on January 29

• Rated 5: Cafe Chi at 2 World Business Centre Heathrow, Newall Road, London Heathrow Airport; rated on January 26

• Rated 5: The Old Orchard Restaurant at The Old Orchard, Park Lane, Harefield; rated on January 26

• Rated 5: Co-Pilots Bar & Kitchen at Land Side Departures Terminal 4, Stratford Road, London Heathrow Airport; rated on January 23

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Harefield Cricket Club at Breakspear Road North, Harefield; rated on January 26

• Rated 5: The Woodman Pinner at The Woodman Public House, Joel Street, Northwood; rated on January 26
