New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hillingdon’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Hayes End Chicken, at 1282 Uxbridge Road, Hayes was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 8.

And Ali Baba Lounge, at Unit 1, Newport Road, Hayes was given a score of one on March 8.

It means that of Hillingdon's 551 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 383 (70%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
