Road closures: three for Havering drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Havering will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Havering will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And they are all are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A1023, from 10pm July 16 to 5am July 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25, junction 28 roundabout and A1023 eastbound to M25, junction 28, Lane and carriageway closure for carriageway repairs, diversion via Local Authorities and National Highways roads.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A127, from 10pm July 17 to 5.30am July 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30,,carriageway closure for resurfacing works, diversion via Local Authorities and National Highways roads.

A13, from 10pm July 31 to 6am August 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 East bound, junction A1306 to junction A1012, Lane and carriageway closure for Lamp column removal works. Diversion Via Nationa Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
