Road closures: seven for Havering drivers this week

Drivers in and around Havering will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A1023, from 10pm November 8 to 5am November 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closures for street lighting works.

• A12, from 10pm November 8 to 5am November 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25, junction 29 to junction 28, Lane closures for street lighting works.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A127, from 10pm November 17 to 5.30am November 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 roundabout, North quadrant closure, for road marking works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm November 21 to 5am November 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, carriageway closure and lane closures for inspections, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm November 21 to 5am November 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28, Lane closure for horticultural works.

• A13, from 10pm November 23 to 5am November 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 eastbound, junction Wennington to junction MarDyke, slip road and lane closures for Electrical works, diversion via local authority.

• M25, from 10pm November 28 to 5.30am December 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, Lane closures for urgent Concrete Investigation and repair works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
