Road closures: four for Havering drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Havering will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Havering will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 5am September 29 2023 to 5am June 29 2024, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28 to junction 27, lane and slip road closure for consrtuction of new slip road, diversion via National Highways roads.

And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M25, from 10pm December 14 to 5am December 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29, Lane closure, between the slip roads for repair of CCTV.

A13, from 10pm December 16 to 5.30am December 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 eastbound, junction A1306 to junction M25, Land and slip road closure, diversion via Local Autorities Roads.

M25, from 10pm December 18 to 5.30am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, lane closure for survey equipment maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
