Road closures: five for Havering drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Havering will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Havering will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A13, from 10pm August 21 to 5.30am August 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 westbound to M25 clockwise link road, Lane closure for site access.

M25, from 10pm August 21 to 5.30am August 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane and carriageway closure for lighting works, diversion via National Highways and Local Authorities roads.

M25, from 10pm August 23 to 5am August 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane and slip road closure for loop cutting, diversion via National Highways roads Roads.

M25, from 10pm August 24 to 5.30am August 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane and slip road closure, diversion via Local Authorities and National Highways roads.

And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:

A12, from 10pm August 30 to 5.30am September 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 27, Lane and carriageway closure for scheme works, diversion via National Highways and Local Authorities roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
