Road closures: almost a dozen for Havering drivers this week

Drivers in and around Havering will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And five of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A12, from 10pm February 13 to 5.30am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 28, Lane closure for lighting works.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M25, from 9pm February 27 to 5am February 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28, slip road and lane closure for cyclical maintenance, diversions via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm February 27 to 5am February 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M25, from 9pm February 28 to 5am March 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 29, slip road and lane closure for cyclical maintenance, diversions via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 1 to 5am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28 to junction 27, Lane closure for electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm March 1 to 5am March 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip road and lane closures for CAT1 electrical work, diversion via National Highways Network.

• M25, from 9pm March 2 to 5am March 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 29, slip road and lane for cyclical maintenance, diversion via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 9 to 5am March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 30, Lane closure for repair of message sign and electrical testing.

• A127, from 10pm March 9 to 5.30am March 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29, Roundabout East quadrant and lane closure for road marking, diversion via local authority.

• A127, from 10pm March 13 to 5am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29, Lane closures for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
