Road closures: almost a dozen for Havering drivers this week

Drivers in and around Havering will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Havering will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And five of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A12, from 10.30pm January 22 to 5am January 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closures for CAT1 safety fence repair.

M25, from 10.30pm January 22 to 5am January 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 28, Lane closure for CAT1 safety fence repair.

M25, from 11pm January 20 to 5.30am January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closure for drainage repairs.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next seven days:

A13, from 10pm January 23 to 5am January 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 30 to junction 31, carriageway closure for survey works, diversion via National Highways Network.

A127, from 10pm January 24 to 5am January 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 29, slip road and Lane closure for electrical works, diversion National highways network.

M25, from 10pm January 24 to 5am January 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closure for repair for signals and CCTV.

M25, from 10pm January 25 to 5am January 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28, exit slip road and lane closure for scheme works, diversion via National highways network.

M25, from 10pm February 2 to 6am February 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 28, carriageway and lane closure for inspection works, diversion via National Highways network.

A13, from 11pm February 3 to 5.30am February 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 30, entry slip road and lane closure for bearing investigations, diversion via local authority.

A282, from 10pm February 6 to 5am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, QEII Bridge to M25 Anticlockwise, junction 30, lane closures for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
