Road closures: almost a dozen for Havering drivers this week

Drivers in and around Havering will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And five of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 10.30pm October 9 to 5am October 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28, entry slip road closure for CAT1 safety fence repair, diversion via National Highways roads.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next seven days:

M25, from 10pm October 10 to 6am October 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for drainage works.

M25, from 10pm October 13 to 5am October 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, carriageway closure and lane closures for CAT 1 electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.

M25, from 10pm October 13 to 5am October 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lane closures for repair of message sign.

M25, from 9.30am October 20 to 4pm October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, Hard shoulder closure for VMS Upgrades.

M25, from 11pm October 21 to 5am October 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip road and lane closures for CAT1 electrical work, diversion via National Highways Roads.

M25, from 10pm October 24 to 5am October 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Dedicated exit slip road closure for scheme works, diversion via TFL roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
