Havering road closures: seven for motorists to avoid this week

Havering's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start this week:

• A127, from 10pm October 4 to 6am October 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, carriageway, lane and exit slip road closure for resurfacing works, diversion via local authority network and National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm October 4 to 5am October 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 28, Lane closure and entry slip road Lane closure for Speed / Red X Camera maintenance.

• M25, from 10pm October 10 to 6am October 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm October 13 to 5am October 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lane closures for repair of message sign.

• M25, from 10pm October 13 to 5am October 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, carriageway closure and lane closures for CAT 1 electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 17 to 5am October 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Dedicated fast exit slip road closed for highway improvement works, diversion via TFL roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 17 to 5am October 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for repair of signals.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
