Havering road closures: nine for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Havering's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And six of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A13, from 10.30pm September 10 to 5.30am September 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for CAT1 loops repair, diversion Via National Highways and local authority roads.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm September 11 to 5am September 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, slip road and lane closures for cyclical maintenance, diversion via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm September 12 to 5am September 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 29, slip road and lane closure for cyclical maintenance, diversions via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm September 12 to 5am September 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closure for signal install.

• M25, from 10pm September 13 to 5am September 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 29, slip road and lane closure for cyclical maintenance, diversions via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm September 14 to 5am September 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 29, slip road and lane closure for cyclical maintenance, diversions via National highways network.

• A13, from 10pm September 19 to 5.30am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 westbound, between the slips M25, junction 30, Lane and carriageway closure between the slps for improvement works.

• A13, from 10pm September 23 to 6am September 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 westbound, junction 30 M25 exit slip road and M25 clockwise, junction 30 entry slip road for joint replacement, diversion via National Highways and Local authorities roads.

• A13, from 10pm September 25 to 5am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise and anticlockwise, junction 30, Lane closure for cyclical maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
