Havering's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

M25, from 10pm September 20 to 5am September 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 29, Lane closure for CAT1 safety fence repair.

M25, from 10pm September 21 to 5.30am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for drainage works.

M25, from 10pm September 22 to 5am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for repair of signal.

M25, from 10pm September 26 to 6am October 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 28, carriageway and slip road closures for resurfacing works, diversion via local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
