Havering road closures: four for motorists to avoid this week

Havering's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

• M25, from 10pm September 20 to 5am September 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 29, Lane closure for CAT1 safety fence repair.

• M25, from 10pm September 21 to 5.30am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M25, from 10pm September 22 to 5am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures for repair of signal.

• M25, from 10pm September 26 to 6am October 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 28, carriageway and slip road closures for resurfacing works, diversion via local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
