Havering road closures: almost a dozen for motorists to avoid this week

Havering's motorists will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 11 closures are due to start this week:

• A127, from 10pm March 14 to 5.30am March 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, Lane closures and exit slip road closure for resurfacing works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 15 to 5am March 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lane closures for repair of message sign and CCTV.

• M25, from 10pm March 17 to 5am March 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 29, Lane closures for electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm March 17 to 5am March 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 27, Lane closures for electrical works.

• M25, from 11pm March 18 to 5am March 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 30 to junction 28, Lane closures for electrical works.

• M25, from 11pm March 18 to 5am March 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 30, Lane closures for electrical works.

• A13, from 8pm March 19 to 10am March 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 westbound, junction M25, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip roads for waterproofing and resurfacing works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 22 to 5am March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, Lane closures with switching for structures inspections.

• M25, from 10pm March 22 to 5am March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lane closures with switching for structures inspections.

• M25, from 10pm March 24 to 6am March 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip roads and entry slip road Lane closure for resurfacing works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A12, from 10pm March 28 to 5am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 28, Lane closures and exit slip roads and roundabout lane closures for RTMC Cat one works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
