A Havering restaurant has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Alex's Italian Restaurant, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 53 Butts Green Road, Hornchurch was given the score after assessment on June 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Havering's 493 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 326 (66%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
