New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Havering’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Bread Kitchen, at RM14 was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 13.

And Brick Lane Bagel & Co, at 87 Main Road, Romford was also given a score of five on April 5.

It means that of Havering's 496 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 328 (66%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
