New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Havering’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Triple B at RM3 ; rated on June 2

• Rated 5: Victoria Andri Cake Studio at RM1 ; rated on June 2

• Rated 5: Nasi Isda at Laurie Walk, Romford; rated on May 31

• Rated 5: Kitchen Extraordinaire at RM7 ; rated on May 24

• Rated 5: Lauren Bakes at RM3 ; rated on May 23

• Rated 5: My Collier at 1 Chase Cross Road, Romford; rated on May 23

• Rated 5: Nest Cookies at RM2 ; rated on May 17

• Rated 5: Builders Bakes at RM3 ; rated on May 16

It means that of Havering's 550 similar establishments with ratings, 384 (70%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
