New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Havering’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Top's Cafe, at 183 High Street, Hornchurch was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 20.

And The Pearl, at 35 High Street, Hornchurch was given a score of three on October 20.

It means that of Havering's 593 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 398 (67%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
