New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Havering’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Sushi Break at RM12; rated on January 29

• Rated 3: The Pearl at 35 High Street, Hornchurch; rated on December 12

• Rated 2: Jen Canteen at Ferry Lane, Rainham; rated on January 8

It means that of Havering's 599 similar establishments with ratings, 397 (66%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
