New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Havering’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Taverna Mandrelor at RM3 ; rated on July 24

• Rated 4: Kushi at 168a Main Road, Romford; rated on July 4

• Rated 4: Zaafran at 234 Main Road, Romford; rated on May 17

It means that of Havering's 560 similar establishments with ratings, 387 (69%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
