Food hygiene ratings given to four Havering restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Havering’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Rated 5: David Lloyd Leisure at Squirrels Heath Lane, Hornchurch; rated on February 8

• Rated 5: Mela’s sweets at RM7 ; rated on February 7

• Rated 5: Mel's Cafe at Davidson Way, Romford; rated on December 8

• Rated 4: K’s Cafe @ Selco at Unit 2 King George Close, Romford; rated on January 16

It means that of Havering's 603 similar establishments with ratings, 396 (66%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
