Road closures: one for Harrow drivers this week

Drivers in and around Harrow will have a National Highways road closure to watch out for this week.

And it is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is due to start this week:

• A1, from 10pm July 25 to 5.30am July 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 5, carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via local authority roads (A41 and A1).

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
