Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to seven Haringey establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Haringey’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Esplanade Club at Shop, 422 West Green Road, Tottenham, London; rated on October 29

• Rated 5: La'de Kitchen at 291-293 Muswell Hill Broadway, Hornsey, London; rated on October 28

• Rated 5: Seasoned Venues LTD at Bus Garage And Depot, Marsh Lane, Tottenham, London; rated on October 27

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Olive Branch Pub at The Olive Branch, 169 Park Lane, Tottenham, London; rated on November 4

• Rated 5: The Prince N22 @ at Prince Of Wales, 1 Finsbury Road, Wood Green, London; rated on October 26
