GP Rankings: The top 10 GP practices in north west London
The 2023 GP Patient survey was published earlier this year, revealing what patients thought of their local GP practice.
The annual survey saw around 760,000 patients complete a questionnaire asking about their experiences with the local GP surgery.

Hide AdThe NHS England figures showed overall satisfaction in GPs across England fell to its lowest level since the survey began in 2018, with 71.3% of patients rating the service as "good" or "very good" in 2023 – down from 72.4% in 2022.
But where are the highest-rated GP practices in north west London?
We ranked the top 10 in the area by the percentage of people who rated the service as good or very good, excluding those with fewer than 100 responses.
1. Royal Hospital Chelsea
Of the 100 people who responded to the GP survey, 99.1% described their overall experience of Royal Hospital Chelsea as "good" or "very good".

Hide AdSome 93.1% said the practice was very good, while 6% said it was good. No one said the service was poor or very poor.
2. Southcote Clinic
Coming in second was Southcote Clinic, where 68.9% of 117 people said their experience at the practice was very good, and 26.6% described it as good.
It meant the practice was rated at least good by 95.6% of patients, making it the second-highest rated practice in north west London.
3. The Abingdon Health Centre
The Abingdon Health Centre came in third with a score of 95.1%.

Hide AdSome 63.8% of patients at the practice rated the service as very good, while a further 31.2% believed it was just good.
Meanwhile, no one described the service as poor or very poor.
4. Srikrishnamurthy Harrow Road Surgery
Coming in just outside the top three was Srikrishnamurthy Harrow Road Surgery, which 94.7% of 111 patients rated as good or very good.
The practice was rated very good by 75.3% of patients, and good by 19.4%.

Hide AdHowever, 2.1% of patients thought the service was poor, with a further 1.3% describing it as very poor.
5. The Streatfield Medical Centre
Rounding out the top five GP practices in north west London was the Streatfield Medical Centre.
Of the 110 patients who responded to the GP survey, 93% said their experience at the practice was either good or very good.
This included 46.9% saying the practice was "very good", the highest grade on the survey.

Hide Ad6. Redwood Practice
With 91.9% of 137 patients grading the practice as good or very good, Redwood Practice ranked sixth in north west London.
At the other end of the scale, just 1.5% said their overall experience was poor or very poor.
7. The Golborne Medical Centre
At seventh place in the rankings was the Golborne Medical Centre.
Patients' experience at the practice was rated as good or very good by 91.4% of the 127 respondents to the GP survey.
Of those, 51% rated it as very good.

Hide Ad8. Oxford Drive Medical Centre
Oxford Drive Medical Centre lands at eighth in north west London.
This is thanks to 91.2% of patients at the practice describing their overall experience there as good or very good.
Of them, 53.1% said the service was very good, while 38.1% described it as good.
9. Mount Medical Centre
Coming it at ninth in the rankings is Mount Medical Centre.
Some 89.9% of the 119 patients who responded to the GP survey graded its service as good or very good.

Hide AdAt the other end of the scale, 2.2% said their experience at the practice was very poor.
10. Kingfisher Practice
Rounding out the top 10 GP practices in north west London is Kingfisher Practice, which was graded good or very good by 89.8% of patients who responded to the GP survey.
However, no one rated the service as very poor, the lowest possible grade.
