Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to 10 Hammersmith and Fulham establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Hammersmith and Fulham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Hotel Chocolat at Unit Su1210a, Westfield London Shopping Centre, Ariel Way, London; rated on February 7

• Rated 5: Naive at 75 Parsons Green Lane, London; rated on February 7

• Rated 5: Fulham Wine Bar & Kitchen at 116 Wandsworth Bridge Road, London; rated on February 1

• Rated 5: Shabab Grill House at 33 Uxbridge Road, London; rated on January 31

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Carpenter's Arms at 89 - 91 Black Lion Lane, London; rated on February 10

• Rated 5: London Corinthian Club at Linden House, 60 Upper Mall, London; rated on February 10

• Rated 5: The Black Lion PH at The Black Lion, 2 South Black Lion Lane, London; rated on February 10
