Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to 10 Hammersmith and Fulham establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Hammersmith and Fulham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Gola Restaurant at 787 Fulham Road, London; rated on March 29

• Rated 5: Lebanese Taverna at 40 Fulham Palace Road, London; rated on March 29

• Rated 5: Matrix Cafe at 91 Peterborough Road, London; rated on March 29

• Rated 5: Zia Lucia at 61 Blythe Road, London; rated on March 23

• Rated 5: Raj Of India at 46 Shepherd'S Bush Road, London; rated on March 20

• Rated 5: Honest Burgers at 24 Fulham Palace Road, London; rated on March 9

• Rated 5: Chango Empanadas at 64 New King'S Road, London; rated on October 26

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Sixes Cricket Club at Wahleeah Public House, 18 Farm Lane, London; rated on March 23

• Rated 5: Brook Green Hotel at 170 Shepherd'S Bush Road, London; rated on March 21
