New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Techspace, at 25 Luke Street, Hackney, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 28.

And Gusto Napoletano, at Unit 8 Regent Studios 8 Andrews Road, Hackney, London was also given a score of five on September 19.

It means that of Hackney's 1,067 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 620 (58%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
