New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Candycrown, at E2 8 was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 11.

And Chicken Klub, at 235 Amhurst Road, Hackney, London was given a score of three on January 4.

It means that of Hackney's 267 takeaways with ratings, 130 (49%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
