New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Little Georgia Cafe And Restaurant Ltd, at 87 Goldsmiths Row, Hackney, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 25.

And elif food centre, at 181-183 Hoxton Street, Hackney, London was given a score of two on October 25.

It means that of Hackney's 1,090 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 634 (58%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
